A man and a woman on a motorcycle were killed Saturday morning in north Phoenix following a collision with another vehicle, according to a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
The woman riding the motorcycle died on spot. The man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but he also did not survive.
The incident occurred at about 10:15 a.m. near 16th Street and Carefree Highway.
Those in the other vehicle received minor injuries. It was not immediately known how many people were in that vehicle. No other information was available later Saturday.
