I know first hand that they DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. No one deserves that. I am also sorry you lost your son, boyfreind, brother, and or friend. To those of you who wrote nice things on here, thank you so much David was an amazing man, he worked hard to live in a nice apartment, to spoil his girlfriend and to help his family. The pure nerve of others on this page makes me sick. Not only did you not know David at all, he is a better person than you just proven by your words. Living with David sharing emotions, stories, memories and sometimes even bottles of Coke or half Subway sandwiches I grew to love David very much. He was like a little brother to me and in no was deserved such a horrible thing from such a monster. My only hope when this monster is caught is that I get to look him in his sad & pathetic eyes and watch him be punished for this. David was awesome, he was always there when people needed him, he was loyal to his friends, he loved his girlfriend and he always made light of any dark situation. One of the last things David said was in regards to my cats not being let out of the apartment, that says to me that even in his last minutes he was the most unseflish person ever made. I love and miss you so much David, Rip little brother.

When I saw that this posting had 18 comments I thought to myself that is fabulous that so many ppl came out to write about david, who he was and how much they missed him. To my suprise I came to read these awful comments about ppl that didnt even know him. Since most of you didnt know him then y do you even think it is nessacery to put in your two cents? Y do you find it your responsibility to make the family and friends feel worse? Im sure most of you dont have kids or if you do they are ppl with problems and you are just mad otherwise I really dont see the point in writing what you did. Unless your goal in life is to judge ppl blindly and make others feel worse. If that is your goal then you have succeeded thanks for your input. But I just want to let everyone know just like the few others had that knew him that he was a great guy. My best friend is his girlfriend and this has been really really hard on her. They were great for eachother. He came into her life right at the time she needed him. He was always so happy. Even though I didnt know him for as long as I would have wanted I still know he was happy, he worked hard by himself for what he wanted, I swear I never saw this kid mad. I miss him and so do many others. We Miss You David!

This young man, I knew very well, sweetest, kindest, lovable guy, cared so much for his family, It is such a shame for people to asume a death of a young man, was due to the fact he was violent, David is not violent never saw a violent bone in his body.. It is the scum..that took his life.. that piece of scum ,I pray gets caught.. We all say (There is a reason for everything) (What goes around comes around) Only nothing will change the fact. Our David we will never get to see again on this earth.. How can anyone take someone else’s life and not get what is coming around to them..???

i DID know the victim. he’s not violent at all. it wasn’t a fight but a robbery. i cant believe that people have become so numb to life that they cant even find compassion when one is ended, and at so young an age. david is (present tense because of us who know him he’ll always be with) such an easy person to love. you had the goofiest smile and could make anyone laugh. he was a person that anyone could enjoy being around. just to put a face on this article and stop people who are too busy being mad or depressed with their own lives they write ridiculous comments. how can ANYONE deserve to die like that?

Alright real quick to all of you. David Lopez was a nineteen year old kid who had a life going for himself. He had a good paying job, a real loving family, including a girlfriend, and he worked real hard just so that he could live there. He was never a violent person.
