Missing Chandler woman found safe

December 9th, 2008, 11:17 am · 3 Comments · posted by Devon Hersom

A Chandler woman who may have been kidnapped from her home was found safe nine hours after her disappearance, police say.

Irene Perry called a family member Monday evening to say she was safe and had not been kidnapped, according to Chandler police Det. Frank Mendoza. Perry, 22, had been in an argument with an unknown male at 12 p.m. Monday and her apartment, located at 4800 S. Alma School Road, appeared to have been burglarized.

Chandler police believe Perry took off following the fight and did not leave with the male subject.
