A man found dead this week along a roadside north of Mesa was identified Tuesday by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office as Jose Luis Dominguez-Arboles, 26.
Deputies are investigating his death as a homicide and asked for the public to help find his friends or family members.
Dominguez (pictured) was found dead Monday morning with what the sheriff’s office would only say was “head trauma.” He was discovered near the Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club, 3960 N. Usery Pass Road.
The sheriff’s office asked anyone with information to call the detective working the case at (602) 876-4804 or agency’s main number at (602) 876-1011.

Was this victim at the wrong place at the wrong time? I think it is a waste of a human life reguardless of where they originate from. I can understand where the assumption comes from that this person was illegal, the name speaks volumes, however there is a lot more to this story than we will ever know. Was he a smuggler of human flesh, drugs, weapons? For the time being we will not know what his forte was. For now all we know is that a family somewhere is grieving the loss of one of theirs. I firmly believe that immigrants should be here LEGALLY and not suck the system dry. I personally know natural born American citizens that have worked all their adult life and when they need asssistance from the government programs designed to give the assistance they don’t quallify because they are white, have no small children, and they are fluent in the english language, they are also expected to pay all their living expenses, and medical on less than $400.00 social security and are not old enough to have Medicare.
It is hard to have sympathy for immigrants when our own can’t even get the benefits they have worked hard to earn.

Where is the compassion for this young man and his family? Our Elected Officials have caused this problem of illegal immigration - not Sheriff Joe, he is the only person trying to do the right thing.
It does bother me that a young man has lost his life because of some unfeeling, uncaring individual. Now that person getting his life snuffed out would not bother me. I really deplore all the senseless violence we seemed to be subjected to these days.
