So why weren’t the police looking for a suicidal teenage girl until Monday when she left the house on Saturday? Am I missing something?
They did not look because it was not reported to the police until Monday, 2 days after the disappearance.
Who cares?
my dad use to tell me, “if someone takes you against your will, I’ll look for you until the day I die, but if you runaway or leave on your own free will, I won’t walk across the street to get you.”
If people really think that you have to wait 48 hours to report someone missing to police then they are IDIOTS! In 48 hours she could have been picked up, raped, chopped up and strewn across the desert. If you think a loved one is missing don’t even wait an hour!
@whocares? : Not everyone’s parents are as crass as that; some actually prefer to make sure that their teen is ok and safe, even if the teen left of their own accord.
