Tempe police said officers arrested a suspected drunken driver after she crashed into at least three vehicles, including one that was occupied by a child.
Lorraine Aguilar Castaneda, 52, of Tempe was jailed Tuesday on a count of aggravated DUI, three counts of leaving the scene of an accident and one count of endangerment.
Witnesses told police they saw a person driving recklessly northeast of Apache Boulevard and Rural Road.
Castaneda’s vehicle struck another vehicle occupied by a child in a car seat in a parking lot near Lemon Street and Rural, police said. She then traveled south on Terrace Road and hit another vehicle in a parking lot at 1200 E. Spence Ave. before being arrested, police said.
