A Mesa gas station fell prey to robbers early Tuesday.
Police said the Mobil station at 1210 S. Higley Road was hit shortly before 4 a.m. Two men entered the station’s convenience store and demanded money from the register.
After taking money and cigarettes, the suspects fled in a red Pontiac Grand Am, heading west on Southern Avenue.
The suspects were described as two black males in their early 20s.
