A man died early Saturday after sustaining major head injuries during a boat collision at Bartlett Lake.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was riding a water craft at 8 a.m. when it collided with another boat, according to Det. Aaron Douglas of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was flown to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn where he later died, Douglas said.
Bartlett Lake is located about 17 miles north east of Carefree.
