Missing Gilbert woman returns

October 2nd, 2008, 8:14 am · 13 Comments · posted by John Leptich

Gilbert police said that a woman who disappeared early Monday returned home.

At about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Gilbert police were advised that Anne Carver, who reportedly left her home in the area of Queen Creek and Greenfield roads with her dog about 5 a.m. Monday, was home. Police said they don’t have information on how Carver, 34, got back to her residence or what has occurred.  They said she appears to be in good physical condition. She was taken to a Valley hospital for evaluation.

Police thought the disappearance seemed suspicious when neirhbors said that they found Carver’s dog wandering near her home still wearing its leash.

Police said they are investigating Carver’s disappearance and return. They said they have not ruled out foul play in the incident.

I thought she might have just taken off because I looked up on the Superior Court website and she had 2 prior court ordered evaluations for mental health issues. I didn’t think there was foul play when I saw that.

She was probably upset with her parents and/or just felt like creating drama.

Yesterday a woman disappears. According to the newspapers, no fould play was suspected. Today the woman returns and now they suspect foul play?

I happen to know this woman who was missing. She’s very responsible and would never just pick up and leave. It had to be some type of foul play or accident that caused her to not come home. She would never want her family to worry about her like that intentionally.

    My thoughts exactly, PukingonPC.

Read much? She disappeared about 5:00 a.m. Monday–since this is Thursday, that would be three days ago, not yesterday. No foul play was suspected? “Police thought the disappearance seemed suspicious……” They now say they are investigating and “have not ruled out foul play.”

So glad the gilbert woman is ok. So where was she? I’m sure the police has questioned her. Just curious to know where she was and who was she with. PS. No one should go jogging these days without ID and a cell phone.
