She is playing games.
She should be fined!!! And work community service hours in “helping find runaways!”
PERHAPS COUNSELING CAN HELP HER FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS SHE IS RUNNING FROM (OR TO) AND GO FROM THERE…….BUT DEFINETLY COMMUNITY SERVICE DEALING WITH RUNAWAYS AND SOME CLOSE CASE STUDIES OF TEENS WHO AREN’T AS LUCKY WHEN THEY REBEL AND RUN AND END UP AS PROSTITUTES, ABUSED, DEAD………LOST……
I think its pretty crazy that young people run away ALL the time for a variety of reasons. They are sometimes never found by their families and rarely looked for by the police, let alone given an article in the paper… yet all of a sudden when it is a government official’s niece she is found within a week and with a history of running away, I am confused about why the paper made it look a little more suspicious than all that?? Apparently the 1-3million runaways currently living on the streets don’t deserve the same recognition…
BTW, why did she run away in the first place?? Is that being looked into at all?? SHE should be fined?? We have no clue how “lucky” this girl might be… many times runaways are not just spoiled kids “playing games”. Many times they are ABUSED or NEGLECTED kids that are just trying to escape… save your judgment for after she’s of age, because for now, she is still a kid!
At this day and age, I believe she is looking for attention, whether it is good or bad as long as she gets it. I think the whole family of hers needs counseling, not just her.
maybe she does have an abusive home life……who’s to say…….hey, Paige Hallman whats up? ? ? did you get the recognition you wanted or are you abused running from a bad life?
Sometimes there are valid reasons that a teen will repeatedly run away. If this is an ongoing problem, why haven’t the police checked into what may be going on. If she is just a spoiled little rich B%%%% , there should be community service for sure but also there should be some time served in a juvenile facility or at very least a good sized fine. After all, the police have a lot better things to do than waste their time and resources looking for some spoiled kid who is acting out.
