A Mesa man faces charges of violation of an order of protection, resisting arrest, endangerment and aggravated assault after a scuffle with police at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Two Mesa officers arrived in the 6700 block of East Superstition Springs Boulevard to investigate a report of an order of protection. During the investigation, probable cause was established for arrest of Todd Birch. He arrived on the scene as the officers were still there and refused to exit his vehicle. When Birch finally did, he was holding his 13 month old baby boy and refused to put him down. Officers advised Birch, 35, that he was under arrest and he wrapped his hands around the child in a bear hug and laid on top of the hood of a car.
Officers got the child safely away from Birch but, as they attempted to put him into custody, he fought with both officers and tried to get back into his vehicle. The officers, who received minor scrapes, tazed Birch and took him into custody. Birch also suffered minor scrapes.

Yeah.. and the west side is any better?! HA! It’s worse! You couldn’t pay me to move to the west side!
Loser, I spend a considerable amount of time “on the west side” as a Phoenix Firefighter and I can attest that these sorts of events are more prevalent there, then in Mesa.
Ha, you’re a retard (no offense retards), don’t you have any comprehension skills? Loser is saying that this guy IS white trash so he should move to the west side to be with the rest of the white trash. Hence the suggestion to “move to the west side”.
Simple mistake… I understand. Keep putting those fires out and stay out of the boxing ring… thanks for your service.
