An undercover Mesa police officer was threatened by a nunchuck-wielding suspected crack cocaine dealer Tuesday, according to court records.
Court records show the police officer had just met two women at the Village Motel, 2130 W. Main St., about 11 p.m. to purchase crack cocaine in an undercover drug buy, but was prevented from leaving.
The two women kept the officer in the hotel room because they wanted him to smoke crack, and then one threatened him with nunchucks and tried to grab him.
The undercover officer identified himself and took both women into custody with the help of other officers who were backing him up, court records say.
Ebony Wilson, 22, and Vanessa Williams, 39, both homeless, were arrested on suspicion of sale of a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug, aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records say.
Wilson is pregnant and has previous convictions for shoplifting, criminal damage and prostitution, and Williams has previous convictions for prostitution, possession of drug paraphernalia and assault, court records say.
They seem like two really slick customer’s.

As far as the crack dealing - why don’t the police just go in and “clean up” all the little motels on main street?? Also, I’ve been told by the police themselves that if they kicked down 100 doors of the “suites” hotel on Dobson & about 8th and they’d find drugs behind 95 of them. Supposedly they have been watching the place a long time and know who comes & goes and whats happening most of the time. SO WHY DON’T THEY CLEAN IT UP????
These women were probably pissed because they had probably performed their services for this cop and he wasn’t paying (by smoking with them). The truth is, they’re lucky they weren’t shot.
