Two vehicles collided under Arizona State University’s pedestrian bridge Monday evening after several students were caught drinking large amounts of milk and vomiting over the side into the traffic below.
A car slowed down to avoid the falling vomit when another car slammed into the first car’s bumper at 6 p.m., according to Tempe Police Sgt. Steve Carbajal.
A 6-year-old girl received minor injuries in the crash, Carbajal said.
The eight to ten students conducting the prank have yet to be identified and ASU police have been investigating the incident, according to ASU police spokesman Jay Spradling.
Spradling said members of an ASU fraternity may be involved but he could not confirm the name of the fraternity or whether the incident was the result of hazing.

Sounds like a Jackass show prank
Doc that was an ignorant comment!!!
“after several students were caught”
“The eight to ten students conducting the prank have yet to be identified”
They were caught Monday night and they still haven’t been identified as of Wednesday afternoon???
Hint: Most ASU students have BOTH a drivers license and a student ID.
My tax dollars are going to this?
I doubt your tax dollars went to the milk purchase, Lynch M. Stupid stunt, nonetheless.
when milk challenges go bad!
So much for shaking that party school label! And they want to raise tuition because we are now such a classy university?
by “not yet identified” I suspect they only mean that their names have not been given to the media, not that the cops haven’t figured out who the caught students are
Funny…. OH NO, MY CAR IS GOING TO GET DIRTY!!! I would have pulled over and kicked the shit out of all of them.
I love pranks. this is not a prank. if it involves putting somebody’s life in danger, it’s stupidity, simple as that.
As an A.S.U. alumnus, I am utterly shocked and embarassed. I mean I partied with he best of ‘em and did my own share of stupid stuff at that age. However, if they are eventually caught, this little “stunt” warrants the kids to be kicked out of school.
GO DEVILS !!!
At least it was milk and not alcohol….JK, it was stupid. My son and daughter are both in the greek system at ASU. I spoke to them about it…the word around campus is everyone knows who it is and it is about the dumbest stunt they have ever heard of. They do a lot of things over there, but 99.9% of the students over there would never think of doing anything to harm anyone else. They said they are embarrassed by it!
It’s not the kids fault… it’s the bad drivers fault who hit the stopped vehicle. They obviously weren’t observing the 3-second-rule.
Dan - Dan - Dan…. right, something falling from an overpass - driver unexpectedly hits brakes & car following doesn’t stop in time… lets see
2nd car should have been able to stop - their fault
1st car should not have hit brakes -their fault
Students on overpass have a good reason for their actions so its NOT THEIR FAULT?????? Let me ask you -What color is the sky in your world?? - GET A GRIP!!! so, because a group of “adults” were acting like they are 6 years old, a young girl is injured. Of course, this kind of thing will keep happening because of people like you who will not require these idiots to take responsibility for their actions. They should be charged with reckless endangerment at very least.
I thought college kids were smarter than this…
Hope they are there on their parents’ dollar, and not the taxpayers’.
there’s a reason I left after one semester.
By saying that some have “not yet been identified”, only means that Daddy is keeping their pampered smartalek kids’ names out of the Press. Probably will get a slap on the wrist and next semester, some other bozos will try to top that stunt with something more outrageous and possibly lethal.
The “Gallon Challenge” claims more victims.
They were apparently going for volume and not distance. Had they been firehosing their spew off to the side then the collision may have been avoided. Next time - support from the diaphragm. Form your mouth into an “O”. Aim high. You only live once.
The driver who was cited for rear ending the driver that stopped to avoid the vomit should sue the punks involved in this stunt.
