Indictments upheld in Baseline Killer case

Judge Warren Granville, of Maricopa County Superior Court, on Tuesday upheld the indictments in the case against accused Baseline Killer Mark Goudeau.

According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, the defense sought to have the case remanded to a grand jury based on evidence issues and claimed that a member of the grand jury was biased.

However, Granville ruled that there was no evidence to support a grand juror had pre-judged Goudeau or that she voted based upon anything other than evidence presented during the proceeding.

Goudeau faces nine counts of First Degree Murder and a series of other charges relating to the Baseline Killer investigation.
