An 11-year-old girl boating at Saguaro Lake had one of her feet caught in a rope and severed Friday morning, according to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputy Lindsey Smith. The little girl was injured in a skiing accident, but authorities did not give details on how her foot became caught in the rope. The girl, whose name is not being released because she is a minor, was taken to a hospital were her condition is unknown, according to Smith.

sorry i thought i was fowarding this to that person.
What a shame, poor girl was just trying to have a fun ride. I’ll speculate that she was being towed in a tube, since the video of the sheriffs dock shows a tube in the adjacent slip. The rope probably went slack, then got jerked with her foot tangled in it. Sounds like a horrid accident. In my extensive time spent on the local lakes and time spent on jet-Ski internet sites, I’ve never heard of an accident like that.
