A car hit a goat Tuesday morning in Glendale. The goat wandered off after the incident, apparently injured. It stopped on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad tracks. Glendale police responded about 10:30 a.m. and called Maricopa County Animal Control to get the goat. No one was injured in the incident.
A Glendale police spokesman said he didn’t have a name or address of the individual whose vehicle hit the goat, or what type of vehicle the individual drove. The spokesman had no idea how the goat got there, where it came from or why it was roaming free.

So, the goat was hit by a car, but they don’t know what kind. They don’t know who hit it, who owned it or why it was loose. Wow. This sounds like a job for Dick Tracy!
