Rural Metro Fire Department units to put out a house fire Tuesday night in which a woman was found dead.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies took over the investigation of the fire at 10 p.m. Tuesday night, and said that the fire occurred near 56th Street and the Carefree Highway. Deputies confirmed that there was a deceased victim found inside the residence after they were called to the scene around 8p.m.
Authorities offered no further information regarding the cause of death or the cause of the fire.
