Mesa police search for bank robber

Mesa police are searching for a man who at 11 a.m. Saturday robbed M&I Bank, 1510 W. Southern Ave. He handed a teller a note demanding money. He left on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. Police say the man is 25 to 29 years old and wore a long sleeve white T-shirt and jeans.

    Hmmm. I saw a guy in a white long sleeve shirt and jeans today, but like the other witness’s I can’t publicly state what color he was, so I choose not to risk racially profiling this person by calling the police. It would be terrible if I were sued for calling the police on a person based on their choice of clothing..
