Police said Martin Rodriguez, 21, of Mesa was driving the truck, and that he fled the scene and abandoned the car about two miles away from the collision scene. Rodriguez fled on foot to his relative’s home, but was persuaded by family to turn himself in at around 4:30 p.m., according to police.Rodriguez told police that prior to the incident his car had been rammed a number of times by a vehicle occupied by two men. He said one of the men began to beat his vehicle, and he attempted to flee. One of the men jumped on the hood of the car and was killed when he slid off, according to police reports. Rodriguez told police he fled the scene because he had been deported before, according to authorities.

Who wouldn’t run away after being rammed by another vehicle? Strange there aren’t a hundred hysterics screaming about the “immigration problem.” Only thing this has to do with illegal immigration, at least on the face of it, is the fact that man was scared of being deported. Wonder if his race had anything to do with being attacked in the first place? Maybe some vigilantes who got a taste of their own medicine? Hmmm….
