Police: Man committed 3rd DUI with a child in truck

June 30th, 2008, 2:12 pm · 5 Comments · posted by Katie McDevitt

A man with a revoked license for two DUIs was arrested again Friday on charges of drunken driving with his 10-year-old niece in the car.

Maximillian Kinlicheenie, 26, of Ganado, was arrested in Mesa about 11 p.m. in the 400 block of E. 1st Street, court records say. A police officer saw Kinlicheenie fail to pull over to the right when police cruisers were responding to an emergency call. When the call ended, an officer pulled over the man and noticed his eyes were bloodshot, watery and that he smelled strongly of alcohol, court records say.

Kinlicheenie admitted to drinking beer earlier in the night and told police he was in town for a DUI trial.

Police drew the man’s blood, but court records don’t say what the results were.

Court records say police found a can of Steele Reserve beer in the man’s truck.

The whole DUI thing is NOT working. The only people that benefit from these new laws are the makers of the interlock systems and the attorneys.

Did the parents if the 10-year old know why he was in town? If so they need to be charged with child endangerment for letting her get in the car with him.

I am wondering what the heck is this guy doing with an 11 year old girl in his car at 11:00 PM. Where are her parents at? Obviously they must know that this man is a drunk. Maybe they should be punished also for child neglect.
