A man identifying himself only as John called Pizza Hut at 2050 E. Baseline Road in Mesa at 12: 30 a.m. Thursday to place an order. He asked if the driver had change for a $100 dollar bill. He made the order and hung up. A 58 year-old male driver drove to 1925 E. Inverness to make the delivery. He was approached by two white men. The first said he was John and asked the driver if he had change for a $100. John pointed to a handgun in the waist band of the second man, who lifted his shirt and said “Give me all the money in your pocket and no one gets hurt.” The men left in a early 1990s Gold Buick.
