At 3:57 p.m. Monday, Mesa police responded to a man who said family members of his ex-roommate burglarized his apartment at 2055 E. Hampton Ave. The victim told police he allowed the woman’s family members to get her possessions. There was an apparent discrepancy about the ownership of a Play Station 3 and the roommate’s brother returned to the house with three friends to take the video game system. A fight began, with a gun and knife reportedly shown, but not used. Police say the family members left with the Play Station. Officers watched one of the family members’ residence and located a stolen vehicle. The driver fled when police tried to follow the vehicle. Police located the vehicle in the neighborhood with three occupants, two of whom were detained and arrested. Police determined the two were not involved in the robbery, but were associates of the people who arrived during the stolen vehicle investigation.

Like usual the Mesa PD doesnt have their story straight. They just happend to stumble on a stolen car with theives trying to burglarize a home. The residents were not associates of any suspects in a stolen car. In fact one of the officers fell into the pool while running with his shoe lace untied! True story! two suspects caught one out ran 10 squad cars and police helicopters. Way to go Mesa PD.!
