A Scottsdale man remains in serious condition at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Hospital with gunshot wounds. At 8:30 p.m. Monday, Scottsdale police responded to a call in the 7500 block of east Fillmore Street by Margie Hansen. The 24-year-old woman told police she shot her 55-year-old husband, John Hansen. He suffered a gunshot wound to one of his arms and one to his chest. Margie Hansen is in police custody facing one count of attemptted murder.
The Hansens told police they were in a heated argument when Margie Hansen got her gun and shot her husband. Police recovered a revolver in a bedroom. A 4-year-old boy in the residence at the time wasn’t injured.
