A crash involving three cars and a semi truck at a Gilbert intersection Monday sent two people to the hospital.
The collision occurred at Greenfield and Germann roads about 10:45 a.m., when a semi driven by Ronald Schunk ran a red light.
A SUV traveling through the intersection smashed into the side of the semi. The semi then crashed into another car, propelling it into a third vehicle.
Drivers for two of the vehicles were taken to Scottsdale Osborn hospital with non-serious injuries.
Police said Schunk may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
