I realize the seriousness of the mother’s action of forgetfulness; however, I don’t think she should be hanged. I feel if the officials look into her past mothering skills and if they find this forgetfulness/abandoning her children to be a habit then maybe criminal charges should be sought. But why can’t we learn to give people the benefit of doubt before we just assumed they has purposely engaged in criminal activity? With a 4 year old and a 2 month old, life can often get hectic and not knowing the pressures other arenas in her life, such as her mother being with her and apparently having to shop for food, she could have very easily forgot about the baby. Being the mother of 4 and the grandmother of 8, I can pretty much assure you that after the possiblity of almost losing her baby, she is going to be a much more attentive mother in the future. Typically, people don’t just have children to neglect and abuse them. Who knows where this mother’s mind was but I can pretty much assure you that if wasn’t on killing her new baby.

EVERYTIME I HEAR OF A CHILD BEING LEFT IN A HOT CAR I WANT TO SCREAM AND CRY. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE SO CALLED HUMANS???????????. I THINK THAT THEY SHOULD BE LOCKED UP IN A HOT ROOM THE SAME WAY THEY LEAVE THEIR BABIES LOCKED IN A HOT CAR. PEOPLE PEOPLE YOU DON’T DO THAT IN THIS STATE IN ANY STATE. AS HOT AS IT GETS HERE. I ONLY HOPE AND PRAY THAT THE CHILD WILL MAKE A COMPLETE RECOVERY, AND IF SHE LOSES HER CHILD SHE WILL REALIZE JUST WHAT SHE LOST

This mother needs to spend somee time in Jail for child neglect. I’m so sick of idiots like this person forgetting that they have a child in the car baking in the hot summer sun.

How do you forget your child and if she really did does this not tell everyone what kind of mother she is…this is not a question of child abuse it is child abuse…and because she was unresponsive then this says this baby was very close to death…I hope that they do not return this child to her and will take the other little one away….
