A 28-year-old man was sentenced Friday to 15½ years in prison for shooting and killing a Mesa woman July 18.
A jury convicted Renato Colorodo-Molina March 31 on a count of manslaughter for the death of Candice Plumb, 22.
Colorado told police he accidently shot her in an apartment at 1809 E. Broadway Road.
When police arrived at the apartment, Plumb was seriously wounded. She died later at a hospital.
