A man with a box cutter slashed a car wash clerk when the clerk denied his request for change on Wednesday.
According to Mesa police, the clerk, working at Fiesta Car Wash, 430 S. Country Club Drive, received a large cut on her abdomen.
The slasher ran away without getting any money after the 10 a.m. incident.
The clerk was treated for her wound at a hospital and released.

Car washes are very dangerous places. You wouldn’t think so but look at all the people that get robbed & attacked at them.
