A man who was twice spotted unconscious beside a can of spray dust remover was arrested Monday after a witness called police.
Thomas Monsen, 28, of Mesa, was seen unconscious around 339 E. Brown Road beside the spray can, but when a passerby woke him up, he ran away.
Court records show he was later found passed out again on the other side of the street near another can of dust remover.
According to court records, Monsen admitted to police that he has been inhaling the substance for about a year to get high, but that he’d like to stop.
