Reckless driving and failure to appear in court landed one woman in jail after speed enforcement cameras captured her 17 times.
Unikki McMillian, 30, a resident of Glendale was arrested by DPS officials after photo enforcement cameras caught her numerous times driving at criminal speeds along the State Route 101 within Scottsdale city limits.
Authorities said that McMillian failed to appear in court, even after several notices were sent to her residence address. During the investigation in which authorities prepared to arrest McMillian, authorities discovered that her driver’s license was in suspension as a result of each of the photo enforcement violations.
McMillian faces numerous charges including 17 counts of driving with a suspended license; 7 counts of criminal speed; and 3 counts of endangerment, said authorities.

Looks like a computer glitch. And then they suspend a license with no proof the lady was ever served. The greed and unethical behavior of Scottsdale continues unabated. No proof of service, fake photos that could be a glitch, not fact, does it strike you that someone needs to go to jail, and the motorist isn’t that person?

Yeah, it’s all about safety. So this system lets a speeder allegedly violate the law 17 times over how long a period? Some of that camera profit should go to putting officers on the roads to stop people from breaking the law, instead of sitting in their cars at every road construction site.

I do agree that ALL legal notices should be mailed with a proof of delivery notice.
