A man who is suspected of trying to sell stolen motorcycle parts on EBay back to the person who owned the motorcycle was arrested Friday, police said.
Lucas Andrews, 21, was arrested in a Tempe parking lot at 1745 E. Southern Avenue about 7:20 p.m. on suspicion of trafficking of stolen property, theft possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Also, Andrews had an outstanding felony warrant, police said.
The motorcycle parts were stolen about two weeks ago from the victim’s apartment complex in Tempe, where the motorcycle had been parked. The victim scheduled a meeting with Andrews and notified police prior to the meeting. Officers met the suspect and recovered the stolen property, police said.
