Mesa police are searching for a possible kidnap victim who was forced into a car and driven from a grocery-store parking lot Wednesday.
According to Mesa police, a woman reported she saw a man approach a small silver car in the parking lot of Albertson’s, 445 N. Stapley Drive, around noon when a tan or beige Chevrolet Tahoe pulled up next to him and the silver car.
Two men in dark clothing began punching and kicking the victim and forced him into the silver car at gunpoint. Both cars left on Stapley Drive.
Police said there was evidence to support the statements of the witness.
