A suspected drunken driver fled police during a traffic stop, then lost control and crashed into a light pole near
Tatum Lane and Ray Road .Police chased Greg Bodell, 21, as he jumped walls and ran through yards. He was finally captured at Galveston Street and Tatum Lane, while he was riding in another vehicle. Police arrested Bodell on suspicion of drunken driving and he was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. Investigators figured out that after fleeing police, the suspect called a friend who picked him up to give him a ride. The friend was also arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
