Mesa police are searching for a teenager involved in what they described as a robbery at a bus stop near Country Club Drive and Southern Avenue on Saturday.
A man waiting at the bus stop told police he was approached from behind by a black male, about 16 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with short black hair and wearing a black shirt, black pants and a gray baseball cap. The teen picked the pocket of the man waiting at the bus stop and yanked his leg when the man tried to get away, according to police.
The pickpocket ran away with an undisclosed sum of cash from the man’s pocket, police said.
