The passenger of a 1995 Dodge pickup truck suffered spine and ankle fractures in a wreck Sunday.
According to a Mesa police summary of the incident, Richard Kadrzynski was at the wheel of the southbound truck in the 2600 block of North Lindsay Road when he lost control.
The truck went onto the sidewalk on the west side of the street, destroying an electrical box before striking a concrete irrigation cylinder. Kadrzynski sustained minor injuries and was placed under investigation for impaired driving.
