A Chandler police union has contributed $10,000 to sponsor a Habitat for Humanity house at 150 W. Fairview St. in Chandler and will be working on the structure Saturday.
The home is being built for LaTricia Quintero and her three children — Vanessa, 9, Vincent, 5, and Veontre, 1.
Quintero is a preschool teacher and loves to spend time with her family, playing board games and hide and seek, and watching movies. She said in a press release that having her own home has been a dream of hers.
Chandler police officers with the Chandler Law Enforcement Association, their families and civil employees will begin work at 6:30 a.m. and conclude about 2 p.m.
