Man guilty of Internet steroid sales

A Chandler man pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court in Connecticut to distributing steroids he bought from China and sold over the Internet.Matthew J. Peltz, 36, admitted to United States District Judge Mark Kravitz that he distributed anabolic steroids, which help enlarge muscles, via MySpace.com and www.anabolic-superstore.com, a Web site he helped create, according to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office in Phoenix.Peltz’ arrest is linked to an FBI investigation called Operation Phony Pharm, which was operated by its healthcare fraud unit in Connecticut. The operation sought to catch people who either manufacture certain pharmaceuticals and/or sell them over the Internet to customers without a doctor
