Maricopa County Superior Court is seeking public comment on 33 applicants for its opening on the court.The Maricopa County Commission on Trial Court Appointments will review the applications and take public testimony at a meeting on Oct. 10. The meeting will be held at the Arizona State Courts Building in Phoenix, 1501 W. Washington St., Room 345, beginning at 9 a.m.Members of the public may also send written comments to 1501 W. Washington St., Ste. 227, Phoenix, AZ, 85007 or to jnc@courts.az.gov. Written comments must arrive by Oct. 5 to be considered. The commission will not consider anonymous comments.The applicants chosen at the Oct. 10 meeting will be interviewed on Oct. 24. The commission then will send three nominees on to Gov. Janet Napolitano, who will select the new judge.The applicants being considered are Aimee L. Anderson, Trace A. Bartlett, Edward W. Bassett, Susan M. Brnovich, Bruce D. Brown, Theodore Campagnolo, Katherine M. Cooper, Christopher A. Coury, David O. Cunanan, Donna L. Elm, Jeffrey R. Finley, Colleen L. French, Frankie L. Grimsman, Steven K. Holding, James F. Kahn, Sean Kelly, Kirby D. Kongable, Steven P. Lynch, Carolyn R. Matthews, M. Scott McCoy, C. Steven McMurry, Benjamin R. Norris, David J. Palmer, Wesley E. Peterson, Jay M. Polk, William E.
