Police have identified the man shot and killed on Sept. 16 in Mesa as 30-year-old Julio Arcenio Marquez Velazquez.Police spokesman Det. Chris Arvayo said he did not yet know where Marquez was from.Police learned of Marquez’ death in the area of 700 N. Gable after an anonymous person called police from a payphone to report a shooting.Anyone will further information on the slaying, call (480) 644-2211.
