Three men have been arrested in connection with a string of robberies at East Valley pharmacies where armed assailants took narcotics such as Oxycontin, court records show.A tip to Silent Witness led to the arrests of the men, who police have linked to at least four pharmacy robberies in Chandler, Mesa and Ahwatukee Foothills since January. In one of the incidents, suspicious pharmacy employees were dialing police when three men burst into their Chandler CVS store, held the pharmacist at gunpoint and ordered him to open the safe containing narcotics.Police following a tip found empty drug bottles in one man’s trash and then made the arrests in the past several days.
