Brothers busted in burglary

Christopher and Jacob FranksA couple of brothers were arrested Thursday on suspicion of burglarizing a soda machine in Superstition Springs Mall, according to court documents. Two officers who were patrolling the mall were riding the down escalator when they heard a crash. They found a vending machine cash box on top of a glass display case and saw two men leaving the exit near Ruby Tuesday�s restaurant. Christopher Franks, 23, told police he burglarized the machine and then handed over $90. Franks said his brother, Jacob Franks, 27, had nothing to do with the crime. Jacob Franks declined to speak with police and asked for a lawyer.
