Authorities haven’t found any problems with Maricopa County toys during recent random inspections, reports the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
Investigators visited at random more than 40 toy retail outlets in the Valley after hearing of the recall of Chinese-made toys by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Investigators bought toys and tested them for hazardous substances.
Inspections will continue, said County Attorney Andrew Thomas in a press release. He said he was happy not to have found violations so far.
