A bank robber struck in Gilbert Thursday afternoon and remains on the loose.Witnesses said a man robbed the Compass Bank at 5115 E. Baseline Rd. just after 1 p.m. Police said the man may have been wearing pantyhose as a mask.Mid-afternoon, a property manager advised businesses in the area to lock their doors while police searched for the perpetrator.Gilbert Det. Joe Gilligan said no one was injured. He expected police to distribute a composite sketch of the suspect Friday.
