Mesa library workers found a note containing a bomb threat about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday and evacuated the main branch at 64 E. First St. Jerry Gissel, an officer with the Mesa Police Department bomb squad, said officers inspected the library and found no evidence of any bombs. Library workers in the parking lot said the library would open again about 2:15 p.m. after staff return to the site.
