Apache Junction police arrested a 21-year-old woman Wednesday on suspicion of animal cruelty after they found her dog dead and tied to a pole with no shade or water.Police spokesman Jay Swart said Kelly Ann Noland told authorities she tied the shepard mix to a pole because the animal had gotten loose before and she believed she had left water. The woman said she tied the dog up thinking her husband would get home before her. Swart said officers on the scene reported no water nearby, but a necropsy, which is the animal equivilent of an autopsy, will be performed to determine the cause of death. Swart said a passerby saw the dog down and called 911.

Someone should tie that dogs owner to a pole with no shade or water. I don’t know what is wrong with pet owners in AZ. They think nothing of leaving their animals tethered for hours on end in the broiling heat or leaving them in a car with the windows cracked. It’s disgusting. When are you yahoo’s gonna join the human race or at least the 21st century and realize that it’s no way to treat an animal. I

I am glad that she got arrested she should be in jail for a long time and pay a fine so that other peole who own dogs and do this to them. I did call on my neighbors one day when her female was having puppies outside in the heat no water the ants were all over them They told me just to put water in the dish and that they would be allright well 4 of those puppies died . maybe its a good thing because she still leaves them outdoors in a tiny little cage . She has recently moved I think she got tired of me asking about her dogs. She did not like me going over and filling up the dogs water dish’s

This is so sick. How can people do this to someone who is part of the family. This woman should be chained to a pole in tent city.
