A good samaritan jumped into a swimming pool and rescued a four-year-old girl from a near-drowning at a Mesa apartment complex on Monday.The woman noticed the girl below water and not moving inside the pool at the Bayview Apartments, 1930 N. Country Club Road about 6 p.m. before she jumped into the pool filled with several people, pulled the girl out of the water and performed CPR on her, according to Mesa Fire Capt. John Delaney.After the woman, whose name was not available, performed CPR on the girl, the girl coughed up water and became conscious, Delaney said.The girl, whose name was not released, was transported to Desert Samaritan in Mesa, and her condition was not known by authorities late Monday.
